Valk 3 Power Rewards

The Valk series is a brand born from collaboration between QiYi MoFangGe and professional speedcuber Mats Valk. As a QiYi MoFangGe flagship puzzle, the Valk3 has broken numerous national records, continental records, and even two world record singles, all within one year after its release. The first world record was a 4.74 seconds single by Mats Valk himself, the second was a 4.69 seconds single by Patrick Ponce, both using a magnetic version of the Valk3. Meanwhile, we have been constantly innovating, improving, and pursuing perfection. This year, two highly upgraded versions, the Valk3 Power and Valk3 Power M, are slated for release. As a result, we would like to introduce a new competition activity. Below are the rules:

1. Rewards structure

Power Single Reward: In any official WCA competition, any competitor that uses the Valk3 Power or Valk3 Power M to achieve the fastest 3x3 solve of that competition across all rounds will be awarded a special prize after being entered into our rankings chart.

For competitions with between 80 and 120 competitors, we shall award 130 RMB (approx. $20)

For competitions with more than 120 competitors, we shall award330 RMB (approx. $50)

Power Annual Reward: The top three competitors in our rankings chart are eligible for an additional 3,000 RMB (approx. $450 USD), 2,000 RMB (approx. $300 USD), and 1,000 RMB (approx. $150 USD) prize respectively.

2. How to participate

Power Single Reward: Competitors satisfying the conditions in the above rewards structure can claim their reward by applying on our official website.

➢      Submit a completed Power Rewards form

Competitors will have three days after a competition has finished to claim the award. After submission, we will review all the claims and select winners in four days. Winners will be displayed on our website and promptly contacted and informed. Once all applications within the three day period are received, we will pick the competitor with the fastest verified result. 

Power Annual Reward: Winners of Power Single Rewards will be posted on our rankings chart on our official website. Cubers that win Power Single Rewards multiple times will be entered into the rankings chart using their fastest result. Every year on December 1, we will pick the top three finishers on the rankings chart for the 3,000 RMB (approx. $450 USD), 2,000 RMB (approx. $300 USD), and 1,000 RMB (approx. $150 USD) rewards. 

3. Application materials

1. Applicants must have a video of the solve or at least two photographs at the competition to document their solves.

2. Applicants must announce their solves on at least two social media platforms (e.g.: QQ, Weixin, Weibo, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

For example: “I just got a 6.00 second single at the Chinese Championships using the Valk3 Power!”   

3. Applicants must submit a photograph of the front and back of their ID card to confirm their identity.

4. Notices and other rules

1. The Valk Power Competition Rewards works in conjunction with our scholarship programs.

2. Any competitor that is eligible for WCA events is welcome to participate.

3. Competitors are eligible to win multiple Power Single Rewards.

5. Please exercise responsibility over the accuracy of your records and claims; any fraud or dishonesty discovered in the applications process will result in revocation of rewards and future eligibility.

6. Competitors claiming rewards consent to having their name and likeness, application photos, and competition results used for QiYi MoFangGe promotional campaigns.

This event will be active from December 1, 2017 to December 1, 2018, when final results will be determined.
